The Color Movement

Due to human efforts, including pollution, many lands are in a dwindling state. Because of this, in March of 2022, The Hands for Nature Project collected donations through the Color Movement to raise environmental awareness. In the Color Movement, Aleesha and Kamya Kumar joined students of Westlake Academy to walk and run with the reminder that every step is another leap towards a healthier home. This event brought the school together and showcased the opportunity to donate for a cause and leave their legacy.

Keep the Earth Green

Collectively, individuals in the community can contribute towards benefiting lands by picking up garbage that was left within natural environments. The Hands for Nature Project gathers people willing to help with cleaning up areas that were greatly doused with garbage, both recyclable and nonrecyclable. Picking up garbage around the community allows The Hands for Nature Project to engage with individuals in order to benefit the environment and serve as a positive force.

GoBananas Campaign

Vegetation is crucial due to the benefits that they encompass that are beneficial for our natural environment. Through simply consuming a banana, an individual can contribute towards strengthening plants in the community by using banana peels as a primary source of nourishment. The Hands for Nature Project established the campaign to allow individuals to recognize the importance of plants around our natural environment and how we can assist in their growth.
